At the 41st Meeting of the Directors General of Passports of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Qatar played an active role in discussions aimed at enhancing passport and border management across the region. The meeting took place at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters and gathered officials from member states to address key issues concerning passport operations and public service improvements.
Leading the Qatari delegation was Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Ateeq Al Dosari, Director General of Passports, who contributed to conversations on modernizing passport systems and strengthening the coordination among GCC countries. The focus was on finding ways to better integrate operations to facilitate smoother services for citizens and travelers within the Gulf states.
