Qatar actively participated in the 31st ministerial meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Electricity and Water Cooperation Committee, held in Manama, Bahrain. The meeting, attended by key representatives from GCC member states, focused on enhancing regional collaboration in electricity and water security.
Leading Qatar’s delegation was Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs. Discussions during the meeting centered around crucial topics such as regional electricity interconnectivity, water security, and the challenges posed by rising energy demand. These discussions aimed to strengthen cooperation among the GCC countries in addressing these pressing issues.
