Oman and Qatar are actively seeking to enhance their economic ties by strengthening cooperation across various sectors, including economic, commercial, industrial, and investment fields. This initiative was highlighted during a meeting between Omani ministers Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri and Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali and Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani. The meeting took place at the Invest Oman lounge, where the officials explored new avenues for bilateral collaboration.
During their discussions, the ministers delved into opportunities related to trade, investment, industry, transport, logistics, and modern technologies. Both countries identified potential areas to boost mutual investments and encourage private-sector companies to embark on joint projects and partnerships.
