In a bid to enhance trade, investment, and private sector cooperation, Qatar Chamber recently organized a significant investment roundtable in Berlin, focusing on strengthening ties with Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia region. The meeting was marked by the presence of prominent Qatari business leaders, government officials, and representatives from German companies and economic organizations, all coming together to discuss potential avenues for partnership and economic collaboration.
The Qatari delegation, led by Sheikha Tamader Al Thani, engaged in comprehensive discussions with German counterparts, concentrating on expanding cooperation in critical sectors such as advanced manufacturing, logistics, energy, sustainability, digital transformation, and technology. The roundtable served as a platform to identify new opportunities for increasing investment flows and fostering collaboration between businesses from both nations.
During the event, representatives from investment and business institutions highlighted Qatar’s robust investment environment, its financial services sector, and logistics capabilities, underscoring the country’s strategic position as a regional hub for business and trade. Furthering their engagement, the Qatari delegation visited facilities of major German companies SAP and Siemens Energy. These visits provided insights into advanced technologies and industrial innovations, reflecting both countries’ commitment to incorporating cutting-edge solutions into their economic frameworks.
Qatar Chamber emphasized that this initiative aligns with its broader strategy to expand international partnerships and attract foreign investment.
